Privacy Policy
A clear look at the information this website uses.
Who we are
This policy covers MyJewellery at myjewellery.app, an independent jewellery editorial website. The website operator is responsible for the information described here. You can reach us using the Contact page and select “Privacy request”.
Information you provide
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, enquiry topic and message. We use these details to receive, investigate and respond to your enquiry, address corrections and manage legitimate business correspondence. We do not add contact-form senders to a marketing mailing list.
Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry. We do not ask for payment details, government identification or health information. We do not offer customer accounts or sell products on this website.
Technical information and local storage
Cloudflare hosts and protects the website and may process request information such as IP addresses, browser information, request times and security signals to deliver pages and prevent abuse. Our contact endpoint uses a daily hashed IP identifier to limit repeated submissions; it does not store the raw IP address in our contact database.
We store one browser preference, myjewellery-cookie-notice, in local storage when you dismiss our privacy notice. It remains on your device until you clear it. We do not run advertising pixels, visitor analytics or third-party marketing cookies. Fonts and editorial images are served from this website.
How information is stored and shared
Contact messages are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database available to the website operator through protected administrative access. They are not published on the website. Cloudflare acts as an infrastructure provider and may process information in countries other than your own. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect the website and its users.
We do not sell personal information. External retailers and source websites operate independently; once you follow a link, their privacy and cookie policies apply. At launch, our shopping links contain no affiliate tracking identifiers.
Retention and security
We retain enquiries for as long as needed to handle the conversation, resolve a related issue or meet a legal obligation. Routine enquiries are reviewed for deletion within 12 months. Daily rate-limit records expire from the active database after two days. Infrastructure backups may persist under the provider’s retention process.
We use HTTPS, server-side form validation and restricted database access. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending sensitive information through the contact form.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to request access, correction or deletion of your information, object to certain processing, request portability or complain to a privacy regulator. Submit a privacy enquiry through Contact, identifying the email address you used and the request you want us to consider. We may need proportionate information to verify a request.
You can clear the notice preference in your browser’s site-data settings. Using the website does not subscribe you to marketing. Where a legal basis is required, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating a secure publication and responding to enquiries, or applicable legal obligations; we would request consent before introducing optional marketing technologies.
Children and changes
This publication is intended for adult readers and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate. We update this policy when our practices change and show the revision date here.
